– How to prep as a model for a DFW casting
– How does the DFW team choose our models during the casting
– How to walk the DFW runway
– Backstage ettiquette and how to prep before a DFW show

Designers workshop
Tuesday, November 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m
Here is what you will learn during our designer workshop:
– Segment one: Information on small batch manufacturing hosted by Carol Engel-Enright, Ph.D of Department of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University
– Segment Two: How to identify fabric using your own senses without knowing the fiber content. It will also discuss fire and chemical topics lead by a Colorado Fabrics expert. This workshop would also help students and designers to understand the different uses for the wide variety of fabrics Colorado Fabrics carry in the store.

Fashion and Film Workshop
Wednesday, November 7, 6:30-8:30 p.m

Denver Fashion Week is teaming up with Denver Film Festival for this special discussion with Courtney Hoffman. Hoffman is a celebrated costume designer who is known for her work on Quentin Tarantino films like Django Unchained, where she was the personal costumier for Christoph Waltz. She was also the costume designer for Magic Mike, Baby Driver, The Hateful Eight and many more. Denver Center For the Performing Arts’ costumer designer, Kevin Copenhaver, will lead what is sure to be a riveting discussion with Hoffman. Afterwards, head downstairs for a reception at an immersive lounge designed by Denver’s Invisible City
